1. What these terms cover
These terms apply to teamsunshine.com, our landing pages, the intake conversation, the “Analyze my home” tool, and any plan, estimate, or booking that comes from them. By using the site you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please call us instead at 617-580-8649 and we will help you the old-fashioned way.
When we do work at your property, a separate written agreement covers that work: scope, price, schedule, warranty, permits, and payment. If anything in these terms conflicts with a signed agreement, the signed agreement wins.
2. Plans, estimates, and the assessment
- A plan is a starting point, not a quote. The intake conversation and the home analysis produce a preliminary path based on what you tell us and on public property data. It is meant to help you decide whether an assessment is worth your time.
- Numbers come from the assessment. Real pricing for your house comes only after a licensed member of our team looks at it, in person or virtually, and it is delivered in writing. We do not publish price ranges on the site because every home prices differently.
- Rebates, incentives, and financing are named on the site as general information, not as a promise for your project. Programs change by state and by year; eligibility and amounts are confirmed at the assessment, and anything tax-related is reviewed by a tax professional before it goes in your plan. We do not promise that any incentive will be available or approved.
- The assessment is free and without obligation. You can stop at any point. Nothing on the site creates a contract for work.
3. The intake conversation and the AI assistant
- The conversation box is answered by a mix of rules we wrote and an AI language model. It is designed to ask a few questions and route you well, not to give engineering, legal, tax, or financial advice. It can be wrong; a person confirms everything that matters.
- If the assistant is unavailable, the site falls back to a short form and a phone number. You are never stuck.
- Please keep the conversation to your home and your request. Do not enter payment details, government identifiers, or other people’s personal information. Do not use the box to send abusive, unlawful, or automated traffic.
- Anything you type may be stored with your request, as described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Calls and texts
If you give us your number and check the consent box, you are enrolling in the contact program described in the Privacy Policy: calls and texts from Team Sunshine and our partners about your request and related home services, including calls and texts that are automated, prerecorded, or generated by AI, and calls from live people. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help at any time.
You confirm that the number you give us is yours, or that you are authorized to consent for it, and that you will tell us if you give the number up.
5. Property lookups
When you enter an address we look up public and licensed data about that property (satellite imagery, roof geometry, sunshine estimates, parcel records, and local utility context) and show you a summary. You may only look up a property you own, rent, manage, or are authorized to ask about. The data comes from third parties, can be out of date or wrong, and is provided “as is” to help you decide whether to talk to us. It is not a survey, an inspection, or a guarantee of anything.
6. Booking and rescheduling
Appointment times shown on the site come from our live calendar. A booking is confirmed when you see the confirmation screen or receive a confirmation message. Need to move it? Reply to the confirmation text, call us, or tell the assistant. We ask for the same courtesy we try to give: as much notice as you can.
7. Using the site and its content
- The site, its text, photos, video, and the Team Sunshine name and logo belong to Team Sunshine Construction, LLC or our licensors. You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not copy the site, scrape it, or use our brand to suggest a relationship that does not exist.
- Real-job photos are of real homes and crews; homeowner reviews are shown only with permission, and we mark anything that has not yet been verified.
- We link to third-party sites (utility programs, partners, maps). We are not responsible for their content or their terms.
- We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided “as is.” We may change or remove content at any time.
8. Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, Team Sunshine is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, the intake, the property lookups, or a preliminary plan. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here limits the warranties and remedies in a signed agreement for work.
9. Licensing and where we work
Team Sunshine Construction, LLC is licensed and insured: MA HIC #205604, CS-115062, Master Electrician 22180-A. We serve Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Florida. Work outside Massachusetts is performed under the licenses and registrations required in that state, which we will show you on request.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. If we have a dispute about the site or these terms, we will first try to sort it out by talking; if that fails, it belongs in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts. A signed agreement for work may set its own dispute process for that work.
11. Changes
When we change these terms we update the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
